Alcoholism is always bad due to the following reasons:

  1. Excessive consumption of alcohol/liquor leads to a decrease in efficiency of the nervous system (especially brain) and liver.
  2. Alcoholism reduces the lifespan of the person.
  3. In adolescents, alcohol affects brain development and reduces the ability of memorization and learning.
  4. An addictive person cannot think rationally and faces social, mental, familial illness along with physical illness.
