उत्तर
All rivers do not form deltas because a delta is formed when a river meets a standing body of water, like an ocean, sea, or lake, and the water flow slows down. For a delta to form, the river must carry large amounts of sediment. However, rivers that flow into areas with strong tidal action or fast-moving currents, such as in some coastal areas, may not deposit enough sediment to form a delta. Similarly, rivers that flow into closed basins (like endorheic basins) without an outlet to the sea cannot form deltas either.
