उत्तर
Procedure When a Volleyball Match is Interrupted Due to Bad Weather or Dim Light
- When a volleyball match is interrupted due to bad weather or poor lighting, the first referee, along with the organizer and control committee (if available), will assess the situation and decide the necessary actions to restore safe playing conditions.
- For safety, players and officials move to a safe location. If conditions are expected to improve soon, the match is temporarily suspended and will resume from the point of interruption once it is safe.
- If the match resumes on the same court, it continues with the same score, players, and positions (excluding expelled or disqualified players). The sets already played retain their scores.
- If the match is resumed on a different court, the interrupted set is cancelled and replayed with the same team members and starting line-ups. Previously completed sets will keep their scores.
- If interruption(s) exceed 4 hours in total, the entire match is replayed as per rules.
- If the weather continues to pose danger or does not improve, the match may be postponed or rescheduled as per tournament regulations. Safety remains the top priority in decision-making.
- All expelled or disqualified players remain ineligible to play when the match resumes, and all disciplinary sanctions stay in effect.
