उत्तर
Let the number of years required be x.
| Number of months | 3 months = `3/12 xx 1,50,000` year | x |
| Deposits per month in ₹ | ₹ 5000 | 1,50,000 |
No. of years and deposit are direct proportion as they both increases simultaneously.
`(x_1)/(y_1) = (x_2)/(y_2)`
`(3/12)/5000 = x/(1,50,000)`
`3/12 xx 1,50,000` = x × 5000
x = `37500/5000`
x = `7 1/2` years
He can save ₹ 1,50,000 in `7 1/2` years.
