प्रश्न
Discuss the nature of the roots of the following quadratic equations : `3x^2 - 2x + (1)/(3)` = 0
Advertisements
उत्तर
`3x^2 - 2x + (1)/(3)` = 0
Here a = 3, b = -2, c = `(1)/(3)`
∴ D = b2 - 4ac
= `(-2)^2 - 4 xx 3 xx (1)/(3)`
= 4 - 4
= 0
∵ D = 0
∴ Roots are real and equal.
