Occasions When I Became Angry:
- When a friend broke a promise: I felt upset when a close friend did not keep their word, especially after I trusted them.
- When someone blamed me unfairly: Being accused of something I didn’t do made me feel angry and defensive.
- When I lost something important: Misplacing my project file just before submission frustrated me.
- When others disrespected me or someone else: Seeing someone being rude or disrespectful, especially in public, triggered anger.
- When plans got canceled without informing me: I felt annoyed when plans were canceled last minute after putting in effort to prepare.
What I Do When I Am Angry:
- Take a deep breath: This helps me calm down and avoid saying or doing something in the heat of the moment.
- Step away from the situation: I prefer to take a short break to regain my composure.
- Write my feelings: Journaling my thoughts helps me process them and gain clarity.
- Talk to someone I trust: Sharing my feelings with a friend or family member helps me feel heard and supported.
- Engage in a calming activity: Listening to music, walking, or doing something I enjoy distracts me and reduces my anger.
