\[\ce{Sodium hydroxide + hydrochloric acid -> sodium chloride + water}\]
Molecular equation:
\[\ce{NaOH + HCl -> NaCl + H2O}\]
No. of atoms of each element of reactant/s = No. of atoms of each element of product/s.
Therefore, the above equation is said to be a balanced equation.
