उत्तर
Secretory phase begins after ovulation. Corpus luteum the remnants of graafian follicle under influence of LH secretes hormones namely progestrone and estrogen. Both LH and progestrone help in further growth and thickening of endometrium and its gland become secretory endometriums fully ready for the attachment and nourishment of blastocyst. In case high presence of progestrone reduce the level of LH and FSH which result in reduced synthesis of progestrone. Endometrium breakdown and moves out in the form of mucus and blood. Corpus luteum degenerate into white body called corpus albicans.
