उत्तर
Let Archana's investment be x.
Face value of 250 shares= Rs (50 x 250) =Rs 12,500
Dividend for 250 shares = 12 % of Rs 12500 = Rs `(12 xx 12500)/100` = Rs 1500
She gets Rs 1,500 as dividend which is equal to 15°/o of money invested
⇒ `(15 x)/100` = Rs 1500
⇒ x = Rs 10000
Hence, Archana invested Rs 10,000.
No. of shares bought by Archana = 250
Value of a share = Rs `10000/250` = Rs 40
Archana bought a share for Rs 40.
