Mr. Jerry Fisher was a boxing coach or trainer at the White Hart. He was a hard trainer. Bill’s fight with Jimmy Murphy was going to be a national affair. He was proud of Bill and was sure of his victory. He was shocked to know that Bill had given up the idea of fighting. He tried to convince Bill to change his mind. He reminded him of the handsome money that he would get by participating in the fight.
