Given, Power P = 1.5 kW, voltage V= 250 V

(a) Current, I= `"P"/"V" = (1.5 xx 1000)/250 = 6 "A"`

(b) Energy consumed in 20 hrs= P x t = 1.5 x 20 = 30 kWh

( c) Cost of consumed energy @Re. 1 per unit= 1 x 30 =Rs. 30
