(a) Pressure , P = hρg
or , P = `1.5 xx 10^3 xx 9.8`
or , P = `1.47 xx 10^4 "Nm"^-2`
(b) Thrust = Pressure × area
or , thrust = `1.47 × 10^4 × 100 × 10^-4` N
or , thrust = 147 N
