उत्तर

Let the required distance be x

Quantity of diesel in liters 108 x
Distance covered (km) 594 1650

As the distance increases fuel quantity also increases.

∴ They are direct proportion.

`(x_1)/(y_1) = (x_2)/(y_2)`

`108/594 = x/1650`

x = `(108 xx 1650)/594`

x = 300

∴ The diesel required = 300 liters
