M.V.P. Samaj, till 1965, had focused its attention on primary and secondary education. It was, indeed, a proper approach. Yet, as the number of those schools founded by M.V.P. samaj multiplied, emerged the problem of scarcity of trained teachers. Therefore, M.V.P. Samaj founded College of Education, Nashik in 1965, by founding this College, M.V.P. Samaj had entered into the field of teacher education and more significantly, into University Education.

M.V.P. Samaj has provided the College with excellent infrastructure and physical facilities. The College implements B.Ed., M.Ed. and M.Phil. programmes. It    accommodates the D.Ed. programme. It has the Research Centre for the M. Phil and Ph D. programmes. It has excellent library facilities. Some statistical information is as follows.
