Hazards of Environmental Pollution

In today's world, pollution is a serious threat. While great advances have been made in industries such as medicine, transportation, and lifestyle, the environmental pollution that has resulted is unbearable. Pollution can be caused by a variety of factors, including the indiscriminate discharge of toxic chemicals into bodies of water, smoke from chimneys, factories, and vehicles, which causes respiratory diseases, the disposal of e-waste and medical waste, which pollutes soil and water, and noise pollution from machinery and construction, which causes deafness in millions of people.
It is critical to create public awareness and educate the public about the need of keeping the environment clean, and the media may play an important role in this regard. Strict rules should be adopted to deter violators, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) should take the lead in educating the public about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean. To promote these projects, public lectures, workshops, and exhibitions should be held on a regular basis.
