Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you on behalf of the residents of our colony to bring to your immediate attention the deteriorating state of basic civic amenities. For the past few months, the residents have been facing severe hardships due to the negligence of the municipal services.

Our primary concern is the irregular water supply. Water is often released at odd hours for very short durations, and the pressure is insufficient to meet the needs of a standard household. Additionally, the damaged roads in our locality have become a safety hazard. Deep potholes and cracked surfaces not only damage vehicles but also make commuting dangerous for senior citizens and children, especially after sunset.

Furthermore, the improper garbage collection system has led to heaps of refuse accumulating at street corners. Since the collection vans are inconsistent, the waste attracts stray animals and creates a foul smell, posing a significant health risk to the community.

Despite several verbal complaints to the local ward office, no concrete action has been taken. We earnestly request you to intervene and ensure that the water supply is regularised, roads are repaired before the monsoon, and a streamlined waste management system is put in place.
