Respected Sir/Madam,

This letter serves as formal notice that I am retiring from my position as Head of the Department of Mathematics at your institution, effective May 31, 2023.

After much deliberation, I have chosen to leave my employment to pursue my doctorate in mathematics. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for providing me with such a useful platform for developing my teaching skills and for believing in my services. With this resignation letter, I would like to thank every member of the school community for their kind collaboration, motivation, and support throughout my four years as Head of the Mathematics Department.

I’ve thoroughly loved and valued the employment chances. I’ve had to educate students, and I’ve learnt a lot along the way, all of which I'll carry with me throughout my career.

I would like to beg that you please finalise the letter of my resignation procedure so that I can pursue my further education with more devotion and desire.
