उत्तर

1. Calculate the share gained by remaining partners:

X's retiring share = `4/9`

Share taken by Y = `4/9 xx 2/3 = 8/27`

Share taken by Z = `4/9 xx 1/3 = 4/27`

2. Calculate the new share of Y and Z:

Y's New Share = Old Share + Gained Share

`3/9 + 8/27 = 9/27 + 8/27 = 17/27`

Z's New Share = Old Share + Gained Share

`2/9 + 4/27 = 6/27 = 4/27 = 10/27`

New Ratio = 17 : 10
