No. of shaded parts in the second rectangle = 2 i.e `2/5`
No. of shaded parts in the third rectangle = 3 i.e `3/5`
Clearly, the fraction represented by the third rectangle = the Sum of the fractions represented by the first and second rectangle
Hence, `1/5 + 2/5 = 3/5`
