2y = 10 – y²

2y = 10 – y² 

\[\Rightarrow y^2 + 2y = 10\]

\[ \Rightarrow y^2 + 2y - 10 = 0\]

So, it is of the form ax² + bx + c = 0 where a = 1, b = 2 and c = −10.
