1. The weight of an object of mass m on a planet is given by, W_p = mg_p Where, g_p = acceleration due to gravity at the planet.
2. Also, acceleration due to gravity on the planet is given by g_p = `"GM"_"P"/(("R"_"P")^2)` 
   where, M_P = mass of the planet
   and R_P = radius of the planet
3. Since M_P and R_P are different on different planets, the weight of an object will be different on different planets even though its mass remains constant.
