Seth Govind Ram is the owner of the Pipalnagar Bank. He was holidaying in Kashmir when the news about the collapse of the Bank spread in Pipalnagar. The people of the town blamed the imminent collapse of the bank on Seth Govind Ram’s lavish lifestyle. Since he was on a houseboat in Kashmir, his bank manager could not contact him to inform him about the situation or to ask for help as the people were losing their cool and wanted their money back. Seth Govind Ram was about to lose everything and he was blissfully unaware of it.
