उत्तर

  • A no-ball is called when the bowler breaches bowling rules (e.g., front foot over the popping crease, dangerous high full‑toss, illegal number of bouncers); the batting side is awarded an extra and the ball must be re‑bowled.
  • Wide is given when a delivery is too far from the batsman to be reasonably played; an extra run is awarded and the ball is re‑bowled.
  • The umpire can give a batsman out by any valid dismissal (bowled, caught, stumped, run out, hit wicket, etc.).
  • LBW (Leg Before Wicket) the umpire decides whether a ball striking the batsman’s pads would have gone on to hit the stumps (and whether other LBW conditions are met) and can give the batsman out accordingly.
