उत्तर
- Isomorphism is a phenomenon where two or more different compounds crystallise in the same crystal structure due to the similar shape, size, and chemical properties of their ions or molecules.
- An example of isomorphism is zinc sulphate heptahydrate (ZnSO4·7H2O) and magnesium sulphate heptahydrate (MgSO4·7H2O) are isomorphous because they crystallize in the same shape and structure.
