Hallucinogens initially stimulate or excite the brain, causing acute cerebral depression, hallucinations, fantasy-colored sights, unexpected amusement, and terror. They also cause mental distortion and even personality changes. The user no longer has any sense of life on Earth. His memory awareness, observational skills, and reasoning abilities are all compromised. Time and space get increasingly jumbled.
