While digitalisation has speeded up the processes of data mining and data management, it has also led to various challenges. These challenges include the impact of big industries on smaller ones; the impact on marketing, consumer behaviour, effect on educational as well as job prospects; questions relating to individual privacy in the web-world, etc.
