I am a student and a resident of Mumbai. I would like to bring to the notice of the Hon’ble High Court the growing problem of plastic pollution in our neighbourhood. Plastic bags, bottles, and other waste are often thrown on roads and into drains. This blocks drains, causes waterlogging during heavy rains, and harms the environment.

I request the Hon’ble Court to take appropriate steps to encourage strict implementation of rules against plastic pollution and ensure proper waste management. Public awareness programmes can also help people understand the importance of keeping our surroundings clean.

I hope that suitable action will be taken to protect our environment and make our city cleaner and healthier.
