Dear Dad, I hope you are doing well. I know it has been a while since I last wrote to you. But I’ve been really busy with class and my practice sessions for the social and cultural gathering that is on the 10th of this month.
I know you must be thinking that I’ve never participated in such events before. I’ve finally realised that I am not going to get these days back, and therefore want to make the most of them. So, now that you know that I’m participating in this event, I would really love if you could make it here. This social and cultural gathering is a mega event at our school and the parents of almost all the kids will be there. There will be lots of activities and I promise you that you won’t get bored. There will be a skit, a fashion show, dance performances, a singing competition, and a light show as well. I’ve participated in the dance competition, the skit and the singing competition.
Dad, it would mean a lot to me if you could make it to the event. It will help boost my confidence to see you sitting in the crowd smiling at me. Please don’t forget that it’s on the 10th of this month. I look forward to seeing you there. Love you, dad! Take care.
