Dear Dad, I hope you are doing well. I know it has been a long time since I last wrote to you. I have been very busy with my classes and the practice for the social and cultural programme that will be held on the 10th of this month.

You may be surprised because I have never taken part in such programmes before. But now I have realised that these school days will not come back, so I want to enjoy them fully. I would be very happy if you could come and watch the programme.

Our school’s social and cultural gathering is a big event, and the parents of almost all the students will attend. There will be many exciting programmes like a skit, a fashion show, dance performances, a singing competition, and a light show. I have taken part in the dance, the skit, and the singing competition.

Dad, it would mean a lot to me if you could come to the programme. Seeing you in the audience will give me confidence and make me very happy. Please do not forget that the event is on the 10th of this month. I am eagerly waiting to see you there. Take care. Lots of love!
