Describe what you see and hear as you move about the corridors and compound during your school break time. How does the scene change after the bell rings?

That day, my friend didn’t come to school, so I had break time by myself. There was so much life and energy in the hallway that I couldn't help but notice it. There was a lot of talking and laughing going on in the hallway. Some of my students leaned against the walls and talked about what was going on in their lives. Other classmates were sitting together in groups and sharing snacks or playing with the aluminum foil ball they had made. Lots of people's tiffins were making the air smell good.

There was a lot of noise from kids running to the bathroom or leaving the property. There was a lively atmosphere with the smell of fresh grass from the field outside and the sound of sneakers sliding on the concrete. As I looked around, I realized the walls seemed alive: notices and posters shifted on the bulletin boards as students walked by.

The bell then rang all of a sudden. Its high-pitched sound was like a boss barking orders. The loud noise, chatter, and laughing that had been filling the hallways stopped in an instant. It was like someone turned a switch on or off. The students moved quickly and with purpose, as if they needed to get to class right away. The scene, once a mess, grew calm and organized as people moved through it. There was no longer the rhythmic sound of shoes stomping on the floors. Instead, there was the soft murmur of students talking quietly as they walked into their classes.

After a short time, the sports field outside was empty, and the sound of the basketball game could no longer be heard. The laughter was gone, and in its place was the hum of the school getting back to its regular schedule. I could feel the air becoming still and peaceful. The break had only left behind faint signs of its lively energy.
