IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory Development and Authority) is the statutory, independent, and apex body that governs and supervises the Insurance Industry in India. It was constituted in 2000 by the Parliament of India’s act called the IRDAI Act, 1999. Presently, the IRDAI headquarters is in Hyderabad.
