उत्तर

Herbivores possess longer intestines to ensure the complete digestion of cellulose, a major component of their plant-based diet. Since plant matter takes longer to break down and absorb, the extended length of the gut provides a larger surface area for beneficial symbiotic bacteria to digest the cellulose. Carnivores, on the other hand, eat meat, which is digested much more easily and quickly. Consequently, their small intestines are noticeably shorter than those of plant-eating animals.
