  2. India is a tropical region with a monsoonal climate. It receives the most rainfall from June to September due to the Southwest monsoon winds.
  3. Furthermore, it experiences a hot climate all year. Because of this, deciduous forests can be found here. These woods are found in areas where rainfall ranges between 1000 and 2000 mm.
  4. During dry seasons, trees shed their leaves to prevent water loss due to evaporation. These woods contain trees such as teak, bamboo, banyan, and peepal.
