उत्तर
Dew occurs commonly in winter because during this season, the solid surfaces of objects under the open sky (like vegetation, rocks, and car bodies) become very cold. The cool winter air, which still contains moisture, comes in contact with these cold surfaces. Since the surfaces cool below the dew point temperature of the air, the moisture in the air condenses into tiny droplets of water called dew, which stick to the surfaces.
The cold nights of winter promote this cooling of surfaces, making dew formation more common during this season. Thus, dew forms due to the cooling of surfaces below the dew point in the presence of moist air, causing condensation of water vapor on those surfaces.
