Why can one ignore quantisation of electric charge when dealing with macroscopic i.e., large scale charges?

When compared to an electron’s charge, e = 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C, charges at the macroscopic level are huge. There are about 10¹³ electronic charges in just 1 μC of charge. Therefore, the quantisation of electric charge is irrelevant at this large scale, since charge can take a continuous value rather than a discrete integral multiple of e.
