Question

Which of track and field eventsalso belong to the category of team sports?

Answer 1

Relay races are the only track and field events that also belong to the category of team sports.

In these events, most notably the 4 × 100m relay and 4 × 400m relay, four individual athletes combine their efforts to work as a single team to carry a baton from the start line to the finish line.
