उत्तर

  1. Cold Weather Season (Winter) – December to February
During this season, temperatures are generally low, especially in northern India. The weather is mostly dry, while some parts of northern India receive rainfall from western disturbances.
  2. Hot Weather Season (Summer) – March to May
Temperatures rise considerably, especially in northern and central India. Hot and dry winds called ‘loo’ blow over the northern plains. Local thunderstorms and pre-monsoon showers also occur in some regions.
  3. Southwest Monsoon Season – June to September
Moist monsoon winds bring widespread rainfall to most parts of India. This season is very important for agriculture and water resources.
  4. Retreating/Post-Monsoon Season – October to November
The southwest monsoon begins to withdraw from India. The weather becomes hot and humid in many areas. Tamil Nadu and parts of the southeast coast receive rainfall from the northeast monsoon during this period.
