In a partnership dissolution, the business itself does not necessarily shut down. Instead, the existing agreement between partners comes to an end and is replaced by a new one. The firm continues its operations under the new terms. Therefore, dissolution of a partnership does not always lead to the dissolution of the partnership firm.
