प्रश्न
What is the significance of Henry’s Law constant KH?
Advertisements
उत्तर
Henry's law is expressed mathematically as,
p = KH x
(where, p is the partial pressure of the gas in vapour phase and x is the mole fraction of the gas in solution)
Thus it is significant from above equation that,
"higher the value of Henry’s law constant KH, the lower is the solubility of the gas in the liquid".
