What is the diameter of a shotput circle?

Competitors make their throw from within a circular area that is 7 feet (2.135 metres) in diameter. At the front of the circle, there is a toe board about 10 cm (4 inches) high. The distance of the throw is measured from the inner edge of the circle’s boundary to the point where the shot first touches the ground, at the nearest mark made in the soil. The diameter of the shot should be between 110 to 130 mm for men, and between 95 to 110 mm for women.
