प्रश्न
What is the change in average kinetic energy of molecules of a liquid during boiling at its boiling point?

उत्तर
The Average kinetic energy of liquid molecules increases during boiling. After the boiling point is reached, the temperature remains constant at this point because all of the heat (latent heat) is now being utilised for work. The average kinetic energy of the molecules increases even though the temperature remains the same.
