उत्तर

Sr. No. Covalent Bond Coordinate Bond
1. A covalent bond is formed by the mutual sharing of one or more pairs of electrons between two atoms. A coordinate bond is formed when the shared pair of electrons is donated entirely by one atom.
2. Each atom generally contributes one electron to the shared pair. Only one atom contributes both electrons to the shared pair.
3. Example: In H2, each hydrogen atom contributes one electron. Example: In \[\ce{NH^+4}\], nitrogen donates a lone pair of electrons to H+.
