In the time of the Bible, Palestine was where the Jews lived. Palestine is in the Arab world. The Jews were called Philistines. Some say that the Jews were sent away from Palestine by an Egyptian Emperor or Pharaoh. In the Bible, this period is called the “Great Exodus”.
