Players of the serving team must not block the opponents’ view of the server or the path of the ball through individual or collective screening. Screening occurs when a player or group of players wave their arms, jump, move sideways during the serve, or stand closely together, thereby hiding the server and the ball’s flight until it crosses the vertical plane of the net.
