उत्तर
An oilcake is the coarse, nutrient-rich solid residue left when vegetable oil is mechanically pressed or chemically extracted from oilseeds such as mustard, peanut, soybean, or cottonseed. Rather than being discarded as waste, this valuable agricultural byproduct serves two functions: it is extensively used as a high-protein, energy-dense feed for livestock (cattle, poultry, and fish) to improve weight gain and milk yield, and it is widely used as a potent organic manure to enrich agricultural soil with natural nitrogen, phosphorus, and organic carbon.
