उत्तर

When aqueous zinc sulphate is added to sodium hydroxide, a white precipitate of zinc hydroxide is formed. This is a double decomposition reaction.

Chemical equation:

\[\ce{ZnSO4 + 2NaOH → Zn(OH)2 ↓ + Na2SO4}\]

Here, Zn(OH)2 is the white precipitate formed.
