उत्तर

A universal indicator will show a green colour in a sugar solution (which is the colour for pH 7). An aqueous solution of sugar is a non-ionic, neutral substance. When dissolved in water, it does not release hydrogen ions (H+) or hydroxide ions (OH), meaning it does not alter the pH of the water. Because the resulting solution is perfectly neutral with a pH of 7, the universal indicator reflects this neutrality with a green colour.
