उत्तर

The two types of emulsions are oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O). In O/W emulsions, oil is dispersed in water, e.g., milk. In W/O emulsions, water is dispersed in oil, e.g., cod liver oil emulsion. The difference lies in which liquid acts as the dispersion medium and which as the dispersed phase.
