उत्तर

Micelles are spherical aggregates formed by surface-active agents like soaps and detergents when their concentration exceeds the critical micelle concentration (CMC). These molecules have hydrophobic tails and hydrophilic heads. In water, the tails face inward while the heads face outward, forming a stable structure. For example, sodium stearate molecules form micelles that trap greasy dirt inside, making it soluble in water and aiding the cleaning process.
