What are Mango showers?

Mango showers refer to the pre-monsoon rainfall that occurs towards the end of the summer season, especially in the southern parts of India such as Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. These showers help in the early ripening of mangoes, which is why they are popularly called “Mango showers.” In Karnataka, they are also known as “Cherry Blossoms” or “Coffee Showers” because they are beneficial for coffee cultivation as well.
